Berkdrums Michael’s albums to me feel like a trip through memorylane.. Childhood memories, a time I always thought was mainly difficult, hard, tough, and sad with a few nice things. But years ago I started hiking through my old neighbourhood every few months (with the right music on my inears) rediscovering my youth and it totally changed my perspective. Now there’s the longing to always go back to that place, physically and mentally. These albums from Michael are the perfect soundtracks!

In 2014 I released two albums — Jenny Llewllyn in May and Entelecheia in December. At that time in my life I was still finding out what kind of person I wanted to be, both in life and in music. I was looking for an outlet to express how I felt going into my senior year of high school, turning 18 years old, and all of the emotions that go along with those things. These albums are both completely representative of that time of change / discovery. They were albums that I felt like I had to make.

For the first time ever, both Jenny Llewellyn and Entelechia are now streaming everywhere, completely remastered from the ground up. The original versions of these albums can still be found on my Bandcamp page.

Thank you endlessly to everyone who continues to listen to my music, both new and old. Even at 18 years old, knowing that there were people who resonated with how I was feeling make the hard times that much easier.
